The Basics about Voting to Get You Where you Need to Go

If you are registered to vote anywhere in Ohio you can vote in Athens County at your current address on Election Day March 4th or any day from now through Election Day. You are called a provisional voter. Click here for more information on provisional voting.

If you want to vote early you can without having a reason.  An application can be found by clicking here.  The best way however, is to just walk in to the Board of Elections and vote absentee in person.  For more information click here.

Remember Identification is needed by everyone and the type of identification varies by the type of voting.  Click here to learn about the types of identificaton that can be used.

If you are an Ohio University or Hocking College Student go to the page on voting for you.
